FIFA places special order with Louis Vuitton for Trophy case

I'm a little late but on May 4, 2010, Louis Vuitton and FIFA (Federal International Football Association) announced that they will be collaborating in order to create a new travel case for the world cup trophy. In the process of being designed, it will be used for the first time at the FIFA world cup tournament this summer. The World Cup trophy that stands just above 1 ft, weighs 13 lbs, and is made of 18 Karat gold is the world's most cherished football prize.
